the wonderful thing about Tiggers

This is a journal about my personal life, so if you don't care, then move along and have a nice day. :3

Okay, so, my Dad has a parrot. EVIL PARROT. If Satan was a pirate, this would be his parrot. It's one of these: [link] which are known for being hard to train/befriend. Amazon parrots in general are not for beginners.

My Dad knows quite a bit about them, and him and the bird are great friends. The bird will purr and groom his eyelashes whenever it's brought out of it's cage. [I say it because we're not sure what gender it is, although I'm convinced it's a girl. So I'll say she from now on.] So, Tigger is a gorgeous bird, but a total jerk!

About a week ago, maybe more, I decided I wanted to be friends with the bird. So I would take the bird crackers and various yummy things, and would raise my fist up to her feet, but still out of the cage, and not pull away until she wouldn't lunge at me. I was going all out, I really wanted to befriend her.

Well, one night my Dad decided that he would pull the bird out, and see if it would step up onto my hand. Well, she did. : D I gave the bird back, she flew off and hit the wall [doh] and then I picked her up and put her back in her cage. The following night my Dad picked up the bird and put her back on my hand, but she bit me three times, and after going back to my Dad for a few minutes, she was put away. Well, now I can walk up to the cage and stick my finger in and pet her. xD The bites didn't break the skin and didn't hurt that bad. For those of you that know little to nothing about birds, you'll sometimes get bit by birds the first few times they step onto your hand, because they have to test your strength as a perch.

It's crazy, a week ago she wanted to eat me, now she's pissed when I leave her alone. So, yeah, that makes me happy. ;D

Uhhmmmmmm... art-wise, I made a new character... lazy ass stallion. I'll probably want to RP him, I'm almost always in the mood to RP. x3

Hey, remember our "band"? I'll still pitch different names, but I like Milky. -shot-
Anyway, I had a random stupid thought (thinking about crumhorns) and I was like FOMG, WE SHOULD START A "RENAISSANCE" BAND. You play cittern (google it), I play the crumhorn, Arista will play...uhhhh...some Renaissance drums(I have a bookmark, dammit)...and, er, Ash...uh...the lute. Damn, but then we wouldn't have a singer...I guess I could sing -and- play crumhorn, considering that instrument would overpower the voice if played at the same time anyway.
OH SHIT, I DON'T KNOW IF I'M SARCASTIC OR NOT AGAIN.
We could get Haley involved... >.>
