I'm trying to get her to the next rank in the EquineRPG and then I'll probably breed her 0w0
Show Jumping~
Ginger was having a bad day. She was reluctant to keep her attention on Elizabeth and had been acting very ugly towards any horse passing by her. She'd even snapped at a gelding that wandered too close, and for that she'd been corrected with much intensity. Elizabeth was making a last ditch effort by trying to get the mare to hook up with her in a small empty lot a short walk from the arena. She patted the mare on the forehead and raised her left arm to send the mare out, which the appy responded to, although quite slowly. A quick lash of the whip on the dirt made the mare pick up speed, and when she was asked to change direction she did so very quickly. A few more changes in pace and direction and finally the mare was beginning to act like herself. Perhaps she just felt off today? Or something about this particular arena made her upset?
Elizabeth rubbed the mare's neck and sides to thank her for a job well done and led her back to the trailer to tack up. A quick brushing and she was saddled and ready to go. She took a moment to accept the bit, not having taken one in several months, but she did so with little protest. Finally it was time to mount and get in line for their class. Ginger certainly wasn't the most fit or well bred horse at the show, but she almost fell asleep waiting to go and for that she was worth her weight in gold.
